Procedures
1. 2ml samples add to vial
2. Vial is cap tightly ~ gentlyinverted several times to mix –inserted into preheated DBR 2000 reactor,
3. Heated 2hrs
4. Vial placed into rack of & coolto room temp. (20min)
5. Use spectrophotometer (mg/L COD)
· Oxidizingagents: Potassium dichromate
-most common use for COD test
-Strong oxidation agent
Others : Mercury sulphate, sulphuric acid.
